1. Sly Cooper

Sly Cooper is the title character of the Sly Cooper video game series, developed by Sucker Punch Productions and Sanzaru Games for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita consoles. Sly is voiced by Kevin Miller in all appearances to date. Sly is an anthropomorphic raccoon who is descended from a long line of master thieves and uses his skills, with the help of his long-time friends Bentley and Murray, to pull off heists.

2. Dimitri Lousteau

Dimitri Lousteau is a purple marine iguana that was at one time a professional lounge lizard and international forger. Once a passionate art student, he began a life of crime after incurring harsh feedback from art critics. Eventually joining the Klaww Gang, Dimitri used his nightclub in Paris as a way to feed illegal spice to the population, in addition to a cover for his forgery scheme. During the events of Sly 2: Band of Thieves, he served as the main antagonist of the first episode, The Black Chateau.

After the fall of the Klaww Gang and his incarceration, Dimitri sought the help of the Cooper Gang in recovering his grandfather’s treasured diving gear. In return, he joined them for the Cooper Vault heist.

3. Bentley

Bentley, the brains, is the deuteragonist of the Sly Cooper series. He is a male turtle with green skin and black eyes which are covered by glasses, which he needs due to being nearsighted. He is best friends with Sly Cooper and Murray, and is he a member of the Cooper Gang. His significant other and rival is his ex-girlfriend Penelope.

Bentley first appeared in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus at the age of 18. His current age is unknown, as he was 20 in Sly 2: Band of Thieves and 21 in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, but an unknown amount of time passed between that and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. At the end of Sly 2, Bentley lost the use of his legs and currently uses a highly-modified wheelchair that actually makes him more mobile and powerful than he was while able to walk.

4. Murray

Murray, the brawn, is the tritagonist of the Sly Cooper series. He is a male hippopotamus with pink skin and brown eyes. He is best friends with Sly Cooper and Bentley, and is a member of the Cooper Gang. He has a great love for his van, which he drives when the gang needs a quick getaway.

Murray first appeared in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus at the age of 18. His current age is unknown, as he was 20 in Sly 2: Band of Thieves and 21 in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, but an unknown amount of time passed between that and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. His demeanor changed drastically between the first and second games, going from a timid getaway driver to someone much more fearless, often throwing himself into dangerous situations just for the thrill of it.

5. Clockwerk

Clockwerk (stylized as CLOCKWeЯK) was a ambient robot-like Eurasian eagle-owl that was the leader of the Fiendish Five and nemesis of the Cooper Clan. He was consumed by jealousy for the Cooper Clan’s reputation as thieves and hated them to such a degree that he replaced his mortal body with soulless machinery just to keep up with them through time. He was eventually killed by Sly Cooper, though his legacy continues to haunt the Cooper Gang to the present day. He does speak English, Japanese and Russian.

Clockwerk is considered by many to be the main antagonist of the Sly Cooper series and is one of the only villains to be referenced in all four games.

6. Inspector Carmelita Montoya Fox

Inspector Carmelita Montoya Fox is a female fox with orange fur, brown eyes and blue hair. She is a member of INTERPOL and is almost always in constant pursuit of the Cooper Gang, and therefore Sly Cooper, who views her as a love interest. During the events of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, Carmelita temporarily joined the Cooper Gang and helped Sly save the Cooper Clan through time travel. She is currently investigating Sly’s whereabouts.

Carmelita first appeared in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus at the age of 21. Her current age is unknown, as she was 23 in Sly 2: Band of Thieves and 24 in Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, but an undisclosed amount of time passed between that and Thieves in Time.

7. Muggshot

Muggshot is a massive bulldog that was formerly the enforcer for the Fiendish Five. After helping kill Conner Cooper, he took a section of the Thievius Raccoonus and holed up in Mesa City, a previously thriving American boomtown located in Utah. He was the main antagonist of “Sunset Snake Eyes” in Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. A few years later, he was a prominent competitor in the ACES competition, serving as the secondary antagonist in “Flight of Fancy” of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves.

8. Panda King

The Panda King is a pyrotechnician that resides in the Kunlun Mountains of western China. He was initially the main antagonist of Fire in the Sky of Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, serving as a member of the Fiendish Five, taking part in the murder of Conner Cooper and the theft of the Thievius Raccoonus but was later defeated by Sly Cooper, then arrested. At some point, following his imprisonment, his daughter, Jing King, was abducted by General Tsao. In return for the Cooper Gang helping him rescue his daughter, the Panda King joined them as their demolitions expert for the Cooper Vault heist.

9. Tennessee Kid Cooper

“Tennessee Kid” Cooper was Sly Cooper’s North American ancestor from the Old West, during the late-nineteenth century. He left his revolvers and his hat in the Cooper Vault alongside his wealth and legacy. The most modern Cooper, Tennessee had his loot guarded by testing intruders with his signature move, which consisted of rail sliding a figure-eight railroad track powered by inertia. Having made minor appearances in previous titles, Tennessee was the second ancestor the Cooper Gang encountered in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

10. Sir Raleigh

Sir Raleigh (also simply known as Raleigh) is a major antagonist in the Sly Cooper video game series, appearing in the first title, Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus as the main antagonist of Episode 1: Tide of Terror. He is an anthropomorphic frog and a notorious pirate who served as the chief machinist of the Fiendish Five.
